An Alert Level 4 update from Community Networks

The following core Community Networks support services will continue to operate under Alert Level 4.

The Foodbank will be open at the regular times (Monday 1:00pm – 4:00pm, Wednesday 11:00am-2:00pm and Friday 9:00am-12:00pm). The Community Hub building is closed, but Community Networks staff will be there to assist you when you arrive. Please maintain a two-metre distance between yourself and others and wear a mask – this is to ensure both your safety and that of our staff.

The Meals on Wheels service will be operating as usual.

Social work support is available by emailing the Community Networks Social Worker, Heather Clay, at socialworker@communitynetworks.co.nz, or calling 03 443 7799.

The Community Networks phone is being monitored and messages will be checked periodically. We’ll provide further details on service changes if required.

In the meantime, remember that it’s perfectly normal to feel anxious or worried at this time – and if you need, trained counsellors are available for you to talk to free of charge, 24 hours a day, when you call or text 1737. You can also call Lifeline on 0800 543354 or text HELP to 4357. Check out this page on the Mental Health Foundation’s website if you'd like some further advice on how to stay mentally well during this time.

And finally, a reminder that vaccination sites will be operating under Alert Level 4 conditions. Vaccination is one of the strongest defences we have against COVID-19, so visit https://bookmyvaccine.covid19.health.nz/ for details of how to book in.
